iPhone 5 / 4S Will Be Available In A 64GB Memory Configuration [REPORT]

We’re now just a few short days away from the unveiling of Apple’s latest and greatest iPhone, and the rumors are coming in thick and fast. The latest comes via the often reliable source 9to5Mac.

Their source, going by the mysterious name of Mr. X, has been reliable in his own right in the past, so we tend to believe this latest claim. That claim points us to Apple’s next iPhone, be it the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S, being available in three different memory configurations.
Currently maxing out at 32GB, the iPhone 4 isn’t often lamented for its lack of space, but many want to keep huge media libraries on their smartphones, and with apps, and especially games, starting to balloon in size, the more space the better in our minds.

iPhone 5 Concept Shows Laser Keyboard and Holographic Display [Video]

When it comes to the iPhone 5, there are a number of potential leaks that add to the excitement and anticipation of waiting for Apple to share their vision for the next iPhone.
While we have a rough idea of what to expect, including a slimmer body and better camera, we still have to wait for Apple to show off the goods.
Until then, I invite you to drool over the features that San Francisco design shop Aatma envisions on a future iPhone. For the record, I doubt we will see a laser keyboard or holographic display on the next iPhone, but if Apple were able to deliver such a feature packed device, it would be enough to make me say goodbye to Android.

The killer feature for me is the laser keyboard. If Apple were able to put such a feature in the iPhone 5, we wouldn’t need bluetooth iPhone keyboards, and could jump into productivity mode anywhere there was a flat surface. You have to admit the swipe out gesture to turn the laser keyboard on is pretty sweet.
While a holographic display would be amazing, I’d prefer a built-in projector that can display an HD video on whatever wall is closest. You can already purchase pico projectors that do this, and Apple has filed patents showing that the company is investigating integrated projectors. We saw pico projectors in smartphones at CES 2010, so it is possible, but not in such a slim package — yet.
If you could pick one way out there feature to add to the next iPhone, what would it be?

No Vacation Days for Apple Employees in Mid-October Weeks

Over the past few weeks, Apple has been denying vacation requests from employees for the second week of October. There is much speculation that Apple is doing this in anticipation of a large increase of customers because of the release of iOS5 and the iPhone 5.
A few sources that are familiar with the matter have said that Apple has blacked out vacation time for two date ranges: October 9th- October 12th and October 14th- October15th.

iPhone 5 features and specs

Hey guys here I am gonna share some the most rumored features of Apple iPhone 5
Design: Apple products are known for their beautiful design. The iPhone 5 is expected to adopt a teardrop design that is supposed to be slimmer and lighter than previous iPhone models.
The new smartphone will come with an aluminum plate casing rather than the current glass backing. Rumors suggest a more uniform design across all of Apple's mobile devices than ever before, as aluminum may be the consistent material used in the upcoming iPad 3 and iPod lineups as well.

Home Button: One rumor that gets repeatedly mentioned is that Steve Jobs didn't want any physical buttons on the iPhone from the start. However, reported prototypes suggest that the iPhone 5 may have a rectangular button compared to the circular one found in iPhone 4.

Memory: The Apple iPhone 4 comes in 16GB and 32GB versions. However, it is expected that the iPhone 5 will have 16/32/64 GB internal storage.

Model:It is expected that the iPhone 5 will come in a black as well as a white model.

Wireless Charging: A revolutionary way of charging mobile devices may see the iPhone 5 gain mass appeal. The inductive wireless charging technology for the iPhone could juice up its battery without the use of cables or plugs. By utilizing a charging dock, the iPhone can charge its battery as well as share, sync or back up data at the same time.

8 MP Camera with Dual Flash: Unimaginably for Apple, it has not yet offered 8 MP cameras on its devices while Samsung and HTC have already come out with their own 8 MP cameras already – way too early for Apple. The iPhone 5 would be an answer to this. Or so we think. An 8 MP camera with dual flash on the rear means higher resolution pictures, greater quality and most notably, greater quality in low-light pictures where the red-eye occurs. Of course, we need to keep our fingers crossed for the iPhone 5 specifications to have this.

SIM-less Design: By making it a world phone, the iPhone 5 is rumored to feature a new SIM-less design with two to three internal antennas for CDMA and GSM compatibility.

Storage and RAM: The features of iPhone 5 is more likely to have an improved RAM of 1GB to go with the dual-core processor. The RAM was 512 MB in the iPhone 4. The storage too might have a chance of increase. Some rumors said it was 64GB this time, but there are some people who say that Apple could very well – considering the wide range of devices, the iPhone-PC or iPhone-Mac sync – do away with the internal storage thing!

Fire-proof iPhone: Stunned with this iPhone 5 feature?? Well, why not to be… New iPhone 5 is likely to be the fire-proof and the company has organized a patent app for highly developed material which is halogen-free flame retardant. It could be incorporated in the iPhone 5 specifications to build this new iPhone 5 and other Apple products.

Qualcomm Chip Support: The speculation is that Apple is using Qualcomm chipsets, because of the Verizon iPhone, which uses CDMA technology rather than GSM, which AT&T uses. Qualcomm manufactures chipsets that are GSM/CDMA, which would fit both networks. Apple would likely want to minimize SKUs rather than split its product line into GSM and CDMA.

On coming 15oct Apple is Ready to Deliver 30 Million iPhone 5 Handsets

On recent meeting with media: According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is set to build and ship more than 30 million of its next-generation iPhone 5 handsets by the end of the year. Kuo believes that Apple is capable of reaching this target due to the anticipation and hype that’s building around the iPhone 5, which has yet to be announced or confirmed by Apple, but is largely expected to be shipping in October.
Kuo believes that the iPhone 5 will ship with the same amount of RAM memory as the iPhone 4 – 512 MB – and that the design, which features a glass front and back, will remain largely the same. It’s also rumored that the iPhone 5 will ship with a completely redesigned antenna system, which caused a huge PR nightmare for Apple during the launch of the iPhone 4. It was discovered by users and media outlets that the cellular reception of the iPhone 4 could be drastically reduced by covering the bottom left and right corners of the iPhone 4 with a hand. Apple ended up giving users a free ‘bumper’ case to offset the antenna issues, but with a new phone comes the opportunity to fix the issue..

The iPhone 5, which has been dubbed the ‘N94’ handset, will apparently also make use of Corning’s Gorilla Glass for its front and back panels. Kuo is confident that the iPhone 5 will come in both white and black, and that both colors will ship at launch. According to his sources, Kuo indicates that about sixty percent of the iPhone 5 handsets built so far have been black, with the remaining designed in white. It’s widely known that China-based manufacturer Foxconn is handling almost all of the iPhone 5 assembly duties, with Pegatron picking up the remaining fifteen percent to help boost Apple’s launch and delivery capacity.
If Kuo is correct and Apple somehow does manage to deliver 30 million iPhone 5 handsets to users around the world before the end of the 2011 calendar year, they will be smashing their own iPhone sales records. To date, the best quarter that Apple has had was the second quarter of 2011, which saw Apple shipping just over 20 million handsets through the end of June.
The report also alluded to an improved rear camera coming with the iPhone 5. Rumors have speculated that the camera will be an 8 megapixel module built by Sony, and may or may not feature an LED flash on the opposite side of the handset from the lens which is meant to reduce red-eye artifacts in photos. Kuo believes that the size of the rear camera lens and circuitry is one of the major reasons that the iPhone 5 will have a similar design to its predecessor, but with the rumor mill working furiously to try to determine what the iPhone 5 is all about, this could change.
