Here are the Top 10 Most Rumored Features of Apple iPhone 5:

  • Hey guys here I am gonna share some the most rumored features of Apple iPhone 5
  1. Design: The new phone is expected to adopt a teardrop design that is supposed to be slimmer and lighter than past iPhone models. The iPhone 5 is expected to come with an aluminum plate casing rather than the current glass backing..
  2. Display: The iPhone 5 is anticipated to have an edge-to-edge 4-inch retina display. A curved glass display screen is also rumored that may offer more privacy while viewing in public areas. The Quantum Dot LED technology could be a possible delivery system for the iPhone 5. The new technology needs less power consumption while delivering the same quality of an OLED screen.
  3. Dual-Core Processor: As we know several of Apple's rivals, from LG and Motorola to Samsng have already released dual-core processor phones. According to a recent media report from 9to5 Mac, Apple gave its developers a dual-core iPhone 4 to allow them to prep for the iPhone 5.
  4. Upgraded Camera: A rumor back in April, from Ming-Chi Kuo of Concord Securities, said the iPhone 5 would carry the 8 megapixel rear camera. Another rumor had Sony replacing Omnivsion and making the iPhone 5's improved camera. Expect a better phone with the iPhone 5.
  5. 4G: There have been a lot of rumors regarding the possibility of the next-generation iPhone being available on 4G networks for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. The consensus from analysts and tech experts seems to be that the iPhone 5 will not have 4G support. Our question is why not? Plenty of new phones have come out with 4G, and all three major U.S. carriers are pumping up support for their networks. Apple has always been ahead of the smartphone trends, why lag behind on this one?
  6. iCloud: iPhone 5 is expected to feature the new iCloud service in operating iTunes for wireless remote access of music from all computers and mobile devices. The iCloud will also store photos, apps, calendars and documents without storing them onto the phone's memory storage.
  7. iOS 5: Apple's iOS 5.0, which is the newest of the OS versions, was announced on June 6 at the WWDC 2011 keynote address. The new iOS 5 is expected to come with 200 new features that will include Improved Notifications System, News Stand and iMessage. It will also feature new applications, such as the Reminders app and Newsstand, an application resembling Folders and iBooks.
  8. NFC Payment: There have been reports since early this year that Apple is testing an iPhone that incorporates Near Field Communication technology. Users can simply pay for goods by waving their iPhone in front of a contactless payment scanner. Mobile-payment services using NFC will be a hot segment in the future. The technology could offer features that allow multiple mobile devices to sync for speedier information exchange and gaming.
  9. World Phone with SIM-less Design: Making it a worldphone, the iPhone 5 is rumored to feature a new SIM-less design with two to three internal antennas for CDMA and GSM compatibility.

iPhone 5 features and specs

Hey guys here I am gonna share some the most rumored features of Apple iPhone 5
Design: Apple products are known for their beautiful design. The iPhone 5 is expected to adopt a teardrop design that is supposed to be slimmer and lighter than previous iPhone models.
The new smartphone will come with an aluminum plate casing rather than the current glass backing. Rumors suggest a more uniform design across all of Apple's mobile devices than ever before, as aluminum may be the consistent material used in the upcoming iPad 3 and iPod lineups as well.

Home Button: One rumor that gets repeatedly mentioned is that Steve Jobs didn't want any physical buttons on the iPhone from the start. However, reported prototypes suggest that the iPhone 5 may have a rectangular button compared to the circular one found in iPhone 4.

Memory: The Apple iPhone 4 comes in 16GB and 32GB versions. However, it is expected that the iPhone 5 will have 16/32/64 GB internal storage.

Model:It is expected that the iPhone 5 will come in a black as well as a white model.

Wireless Charging: A revolutionary way of charging mobile devices may see the iPhone 5 gain mass appeal. The inductive wireless charging technology for the iPhone could juice up its battery without the use of cables or plugs. By utilizing a charging dock, the iPhone can charge its battery as well as share, sync or back up data at the same time.

8 MP Camera with Dual Flash: Unimaginably for Apple, it has not yet offered 8 MP cameras on its devices while Samsung and HTC have already come out with their own 8 MP cameras already – way too early for Apple. The iPhone 5 would be an answer to this. Or so we think. An 8 MP camera with dual flash on the rear means higher resolution pictures, greater quality and most notably, greater quality in low-light pictures where the red-eye occurs. Of course, we need to keep our fingers crossed for the iPhone 5 specifications to have this.

SIM-less Design: By making it a world phone, the iPhone 5 is rumored to feature a new SIM-less design with two to three internal antennas for CDMA and GSM compatibility.

Storage and RAM: The features of iPhone 5 is more likely to have an improved RAM of 1GB to go with the dual-core processor. The RAM was 512 MB in the iPhone 4. The storage too might have a chance of increase. Some rumors said it was 64GB this time, but there are some people who say that Apple could very well – considering the wide range of devices, the iPhone-PC or iPhone-Mac sync – do away with the internal storage thing!

Fire-proof iPhone: Stunned with this iPhone 5 feature?? Well, why not to be… New iPhone 5 is likely to be the fire-proof and the company has organized a patent app for highly developed material which is halogen-free flame retardant. It could be incorporated in the iPhone 5 specifications to build this new iPhone 5 and other Apple products.

Qualcomm Chip Support: The speculation is that Apple is using Qualcomm chipsets, because of the Verizon iPhone, which uses CDMA technology rather than GSM, which AT&T uses. Qualcomm manufactures chipsets that are GSM/CDMA, which would fit both networks. Apple would likely want to minimize SKUs rather than split its product line into GSM and CDMA.
