Darren Fletcher is the latest fitness doubt
ahead of Scotland's Euro 2012 qualifying double-header against
Liechtenstein and Spain after being hit by illness.
The Scottish Football Association confirmed the Scotland captain was not with the squad training on
Tuesday ahead of flying out to Switzerland on Thursday before Saturday's clash in Vaduz.
A short statement on the SFA's website read: "Darren Fletcher is suffering from tonsillitis in Manchester but will be assessed by club and Scotland medical staff on a daily basis."
Leeds midfielder Robert Snodgrass is also a major doubt for the games against Liechtenstein and Spain after sustaining an ankle problem in Leeds' win over Portsmouth last Saturday.
Scotland boss Craig Levein is already sweating on the fitness of Kenny Miller for the double-header after he picked up a groin injury while playing for Cardiff last weekend.
